The Million Steps to Mother's Day is one of the key legacy fundraising events and this year, it’s easier than ever to make a difference. Participants simply lace up their sneakers and move – wherever, whenever, and however they like. Every move counts, every dollar matters. The event is virtual and runs from May 1st to May 8, 2022.

Two promotional campaigns:
1. Create a team, register at mothersdaywalk.ca and then download the app. Invite your audience to join your team via your Instagram page with 2 or more image or video posts. There is a premium associated with this as you will also be participating and donating to the event.
2. Promote the event to your audience via a custom story and/or feed post. Image,carousel or video can be used.
Out of seven offers, three influencers qualified to participate in the campaign. Valerie, Inshia and Rachel produced highly engaging content that shared their personal stories about the importance of breast cancer research. They all chose the second promotional campaign which includes posting on their stories and in-feed posts. One of the higher performing posts came from Valerie with 26.5k, generating over 6000 engagements.
